Dear Family,
We’re saddened at the passing of Jared and express our condolences at your loss. We live down the street where he lived, and we want you to know we appreciated his friendly personality. We wish we had been able to get to know him better, but we did enjoy providing a flag in his yard in 2013 as part of our Boy Scout service and fund raising project.
Although, we had left information at his home, we didn’t hear back from him, but one day as we were posting flags in the neighborhood he came out and requested we leave him one, which we did. During that brief encounter, we were impressed with him and his sincere interest in us as his neighbors. We haven’t seen him for some time in recent months and have missed him.
We pray the Lord’s blessings for you, his family.
