Memory of Valerie Moreno McDowel

Hi Sister Badger, I just wanted to tell you that I've been thinking about your family and praying for you all week. I'm so deeply sorry to hear about Jared's passing. I have so many fun memories of him in church and school and I am just in disbelief. I just want you to know that when I moved to Springville when I was 15 it was so unbelievably hard for me. I was so shy and really didn't have many friends beyond people in the ward. I tried to put on a brave face but inside I was miserable. Jared was always so kind at church. I knew if I saw him at school he would have a warm smile and always something kind to say. I remember looking up to him because he was so unbelievably smart! It's hard to see someone like that leave this earth way too soon. Anyway, just wanted to let you know that I've been thinking of you and your family and sending love from Colorado. -Valerie Moreno McDowel
